]]> Weller Tools, the world’s No.1 brand in hand soldering solutions, offers a Replacement Main Filter for the Zero Smog 4V to provide continually clean air for the workplace.

Ideal for soldering, laser and gluing applications, the Main filter is comprised of a HEPA class H13 particle filter and granulated media. It contains 2,2kg of granular media composed of 50 percent Activated Carbon, 50 percent KMnO4 (Potassium Permanganate). This 50/50 mixed media is very versatile and is effective with many more gases than just activated carbon on its own.

The replacement filter includes a small silicone hose and connector. This is used by the Zero Smog 4V to measure differential pressure through the filter to indicate when the filter is full.  

The filter also fits Zero Smog EL and TL filtration units as a performance upgrade to the standard filters found in those units.

The life of a main filter is extended by using it in conjunction with prefilters. Prefilter packs and the Main filter also can be purchased as a set for convenience and at a reduced price (part number FT91000042).

The automatic valve opens when the user picks up the soldering iron and closes as soon as it senses the soldering iron is switched off or is entering into sleep mode.

Multiple valves can be used with multiple soldering stations (and also preheaters) in a network all connected to a Zero Smog fume extraction unit.

The fume extractor will automatically adjust its suction speed depending on how many valves are in the open position, thus optimizing filter life and energy consumption.

The MG100s purifies air at up to two workplaces simultaneously with an H13 particle filter and wide band gas filter. The unit features three speed settings and an electronic filter control with filter alarm to simplify maintenance.

The fume extraction filter contains 6,7kg of potassium permanganate (KMnO4) granulated filter media. Additionally, MEK, VOC and cleanroom applications can be accommodated with other optional filters.
