Arvato Systems massively expands Microsoft cloud know-how

  • Further strengthening of the Microsoft Azure competence at Arvato Systems
  • More than 600 training seats were retrieved for Microsoft certifications through the "Enterprise Skilling Initiative"
  • Arvato Systems addresses growing demand for Microsoft Cloud Services

Arvato Systems has again expanded its cooperation with Microsoft: By training more than 400 employees, Arvato Systems has been able to further expand its expertise in Microsoft cloud technologies and thus strengthen the basis for the growing cloud business.

As a Managed Service Provider (MSP) and Independent Software Vendor (ISV), Arvato Systems has been supporting companies in digital transformation for over 20 years. The IT specialists rely heavily on a broad Microsoft portfolio and on industry solutions based on Microsoft technologies. The IT specialist currently holds twelve Microsoft competencies in gold and silver.

With the "Enterprise Skilling Initiative", or ESI in short, Microsoft promotes extensive training and certification in various Azure disciplines and levels. So far, Arvato Systems has built up its extensive cloud know-how with specialized individual training. By defining and implementing holistic skill plans, it has now been possible to provide bundled and comprehensive Azure training for a broad employee base.

The trainings, jointly organized by Microsoft, Brainymotion and Arvato Systems, ran from January to June 2020 and generated strong interest: More than 600 training seats were booked by over 400 participants. This means that more than 15 percent of Arvato Systems employees attended ESI training courses in the area of Cloud Basics and nine other learning paths:

• Azure Administrator
• Azure AI Engineer
• Azure Data Engineer
• Azure Data Scientist
• Azure Developer
• Azure DevOps Engineer
• Azure Fundamentals
• Azure SAP Admin
• Azure Security Engineer
• Azure Solution Architect

As a foundation for the growing cloud business, training and education are essential for Arvato Systems and represent an important investment in the future of the Multi-Cloud Service Integrator. „Microsoft’s Enterprise Skilling Initiative is an excellent opportunity for knowledge transfer in the cloud context. We are proud that we have been able to expand our expertise in Microsoft technologies even further by training so many colleagues," says Matthias Moeller, CEO of Arvato Systems Group. Jockel Merholz, Senior Program Manager Cloud at Arvato Systems, adds: "The huge interest and dedicated participation in trainings is really impressive. This supports our claim to be a competent and reliable partner with extensive Microsoft know-how to realize the transformation projects of our customers".

Additionally, the IT specialist was also able to strengthen its role as a Microsoft top partner, as Gregor Bieler, responsible for the partner organization at Microsoft Germany, confirms: "The investments in Microsoft Cloud training at Arvato Systems are impressive. With a focus on lifelong learning and the right skills, Arvato Systems is excellently positioned – customers will benefit significantly from this. This commitment forms the basis for further joint growth with Microsoft".
